What does a pre-purchase building inspection include?
We inspect the structure, roof, plumbing, electrical, interior, exterior, subfloor and roof space. You’ll receive a detailed report with photos and recommendations.
How long does the inspection take?
Most inspections take between 1-2 hours, depending on the size and condition of the property.
When will I receive the report?
You’ll receive your written report within 24 hours of the inspection, usually the same day.
Does the Electrical, Plumbing and Gas Inspection certify compliance?
No, we are not licensed electricians or plumbers. Our Electrical, Plumbing and Gas inspection checks fixtures and fitting working order only. We inspect the working order of items such as water flow from taps, speed of drainage, testing of power points and all fixed appliances.A technical electrical inspection of wiring, meter box and associated technical elements is not included and needs to be conducted by a licensed electrician. A compliance inspection of technical aspects of plumbing and gas, such as water supply, drainage and gas pipelines, is not included and needs to be conducted by a licensed plumber and gas fitter.
Is the inspection compliant with WA standards?
Yes. Our inspections follow Australian Standard AS 4349.1 for pre-purchase building assessments in Western Australia.
